On Tuesday morning 18/8/2020, SSI Securities Corporation’s trading system had an unstable connection that led to inability of customers to place buy/sell orders on the system. SSI has made great effort to fix the system and fortunately in the afternoon of the same day, our system is able to trade normally with securities codes trading on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) and Upcom. For those securities codes trading on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (HSX), it is done through direct floor trading placement order.
During the morning trading session, SSI has quickly published a full explaination to inform and apologise to all our customers, partners about this trading systems downtime that affected SSI Webtrading, SSI Mobile Trading, SSI Pro Trading and SSI iBoard, and at the same time, SSI is very committed to fixing this in the shortest time as well as to support our customers through our hotline and brokers.
After checking and repairing, we found out the cause of the problem is the instability of the North-South WAN connection. Up to now, these unstable connections have been fixed. Customers are now can trade normally with securities codes trading on HNX and Upcom. For those of trading on HSX, it can be done through direct floor trading placement order. SSI is coordinating to test with HSX to restore the connection completely in the shortest of time.
